Happy Hump Day all!!  I have been dying to try a “SAVORY” Wafflewich ever since Melissa of Trying To Heal left a comment on how she  makes her wafflewiches.  I realized after I read her post yesterday that I actually didn’t follow the directions ~ oops :D   I will be making her other version tomorrow for lunch – YUM!

I started off with Two Kashi Strawberry Flax waffles (b/c it’s what I have on hand) waffles.  Next I topped them with a Laughing Cow Light Swiss Wedge.

I cooked up TWO Morning Star Original Veggie Sausages since I was sharing this with my co-worker and placed them on top of one side of the waffles.

Put both halves together to form your Savory WaffleWich.  Then, slice in half.

Dig in!!! OMG ~ I LOVED it!  I can totally see getting creative with this by adding egg whites, hot sauce, veggies, etc.  All together the entire sandwich I made is 8 points for all of it, however, you could get by using 1 Veggie Sausage, a lower point sausage or make your own Sun Dried Tomato Basil Turkey Sausage and save on points!

Thanks, Melissa!  I totally LOVED it and plan on making your Chick Patty version tomorrow – I cannot wait!

For whatever reason, I have been having an aversion to my beloved Greek Yogurt lately.  I have taken it for my AM snack to have for like a week straight and I have yet to actually eat it  – what gives?!  I LOVE Greek Yogurt….I realized today that maybe it’s because I have too m any “fun” choices around.

Mid morning snack ~ TJ’s Pita Puff’s x’s 2 (2 points!)

Lunch involved a little shopping at the downtown Napa Mall then a quick stop at Gillwood’s.  I LOVE Gillwood’s Cafe because they honestly have everything you could want on their menu.

I was CRAVING their AMAZING veggie Burger….I get it topped with fresh mushrooms….

And add AVOCADO with tomatoes, pickles, onions…..

with their AMAZINGLY soft, sweet homemade buns!

Seriously ~ how AWESOME is this 8 point veggie burger?!  It’s huge, filling and delicious!

I had a salad on the side with FF Raspberry Walnut Dressing….YUM!

I wasn’t really hungry this afternoon, but, I wanted something sweet….plus that FANTASTIC Dark Chocolate Toffee with Caramelized Almonds was calling my name.  I made sure to finish the last 3 squares so I won’t be tempted anymore by it :D LOL (4 pts)

The Husband met me after my Weight Watcher meeting for dinner at Vasquez ~ his favorite place. ( I LOST .8 LBS ~ which I think is pretty awesome considering my birthday week of celebrating!  I’ll take it!)

I had my usual Chicken Tacos x’s…..MMMM, I WISH I knew how they make their chicken so soft and tender.  YUM! (8 pts)

I also couldn’t resist a few bites of his cheesy quesadilla ~ they make their own tortillas there and I honestly could eat just that LOL.

The Husbands Cheesy Quesadilaa

Today was a REST day, but, tomorrow I am getting up early to get in 3.5 miles before work.  I actually missed that “feeling” this morning of having my workout start my day off ~ LOVE it!

Just a few hours left to enter to win ANNIE’s FRUITY BUNNIES!!! Keep posting your comments and I’ll draw a winner in the morning.

Nite all!
