I LOVE how each recipe lists the calories next to it in the HUGE index in the front.  I am all over that Pho and Bacon, Lettuce, Tomato Roll!

Did I mention the pictures?  The photography in this cookbook is AMAZING….I found myself drooling over each page saying I NEED to make this, and this, and this…..just based on the  pictures alone!

I really like how he shows the way he “healthified” each recipe with before/after fat and calorie counts.

Now, here is the part I think I FLIPPED OUT OVER THE MOST!  If you are counting points, as in WEIGHT WATCHERS POINTS+, he has included the Food Value Points (translation ~ points+).

I calculated practically EVERY recipe in the book and it was spot on EXACT with the points+ values Open-mouthed smile

as many others my motivation for losing weight has been many diff things to look better of course to feel better and to be healthy so i can be around for friends and family for years to come

The first time I lost weight (over 110) pounds, I lost weight so I could feel good about myself, walk into a room without feeling ashamed of myself, and so I could buy clothes that I LIKED!!!! When I got pregnant with my son, i gained back 80 lbs. I now have a daughter as well, and I want them to shine. I want them to be healthy and confident, and to do that they need a role model. So, I am losing weight, living actively, eating healthy, and regaining my confidence. I want them to dance like no one is watching, and just as importantly – I want to dance WITH them. =-)

I’m 46 and have been working out and eating right for 20+ years. I want to enjoy another 20+ through education and web sites like yours. As far as Rocco goes, I remember his restaurant show and he was nice to look at then and even better now. :)

I want to set a good example to my dd and show her that eating ‘healthy’ doesn’t have to be boring! I love fruits and veg so I love finding new recipes to try, and we’re growing a garden again this year, hopefully I will fully utilize all that we harvest :)
