Happy Weekend all! I am so glad that The Ground Hog didn’t see his shadow today because I am so ready for spring. We have been fortunate enough to have some pretty amazing weather lately and it has totally spoiled me on sunny days.
This morning I woke up knowing exactly what I wanted for breakfast…..a Panera Bagel.
Not just any Panera Bagel, but, a blueberry bagel stuff with real, fresh, blueberries you can see.
Topped with their Reduced Fat Whipped Wild Blueberry Cream Cheese that also has real blueberries in it. This is seriously love on a plate. (9 points+ for the bagel & 2 points+ for 1 oz of cream cheese).
Funny fact about The Husband ~ he doesn’t like bagels at all (he is so weird!) but totally wanted to eat the frosting on my bagel even when I told him it’s not frosting LOL.
We spend the morning knocking out our to-do list around the house and doing a little shopping. Before heading out to the movies to see Broken City, we stopped at Mary’s Pizza Shack. We both thought the movie was ok, but, the ending was ehhhh.
I love Mary’s salads and often get them for meals. However, I knew I wanted their Pizza and Salad Lunch combo and went for it.
Mary’s Small Side Salad with 1 Tbsp. ranch on the side, fork dipped. (4 points+)
It was actually pretty easy to resist their hot sour dough bread because…..
I knew I had this huge slice of Mushroom Pizza coming out to me.
Cheesy, tangy, spicy, mushroom-y good! I count it as two slices for 10 points+
After the movie, I spent the afternoon baking something that was “red and gold” (Go Niners!) for our Weight Watchers Super Bowl Party tomorrow morning.
I had so many ideas going through my brain al week, but, finally decided today on these Inside Out Pineapple Mini Muffins. The recipe is coming up this week.
They totally taste like Pineapple Upside Down Cake, but, for only 1 points+ each.
I was planning on making Taco Cups and salad for dinner tonight, but, we both decided we were not hungry enough for a “real” dinner. We ended up switching to BFD ~ Breakfast for Dinner!
3/4 cup Ore Ida Western Potatoes “fried” in my 2 tsp of healthy oil. (3 points+).
With a little protein power ~ an egg plus egg white scramble. (2 points+)
STATS:
- 30 points+
- AL ~ 100%, 3 activity points+
It has been nice to take a points+ break this past week, but, I honestly feel like I personally make better choices on Simply Filling by focusing on Filling Foods. So, tomorrow I am back on the SF Track but will still include points+ when I share my dailies.
QUESTION OF THE DAY:
Will you be watching the Super Bowl, the Commercials, Shopping or ???
Night all!
