One Tasty Chocolate Chip Cookie Giveaway

by DanicasDaily on May 15, 2014

Happy National Chocolate Chip Cookie Day all!  Awhile back the folks at Krusteaz’s asked if I wanted to see how their Krusteaz’s Triple Chocolate Chunk Cookie mix compared to my homemade Chocolate Chip Cookies (I just realized I never added this to my recipe page – that will be coming soon!)

Always up for any cooking challenge, I definitely said yes and couldn’t wait to try out these delicious cookies.

The ingredient list in any premade cookie mix should be simple if you think about it – all you need is to have them put all the “dry ingredients” together in the mix, then, you just add in the wet ingredients.  Krusteaz delivers an ingredient list you can recognize.

As much as I love making cookies from scratch, I have to say seeing how easy these are to make is a plus.

The box gives you the measurements to make different sizes.  Just pick your size and drop onto a cookie sheet.

Bake, remove to a cooling rack and resist diving in (that pretty much never happens in our house!)

The verdict ~ My niece and nephew couldn’t tell they were not my usual homemade.  My Sis and The Husband devoured the rest.  I’d have to say that sometimes when you are short on time or can’t wait to have your cookies, the Krusteaz mixes are a pretty darn tasty alternative to homemade.
