I need a kitchen ‘vacation’ because I’m tired of cooking out of a mini college fridge while waiting for our new fridge to be delivered. There’s nothing like having a general conversation with your husband about a sound you heard coming from the fridge then him jumping up from the couch to open the fridge to see your frozen foods defrosted and the milk warm. On top of that the kid’s are hungry and thirsty for anything cold.

It only supplies Free Fruit and some very small meals – like yogurt or cereal. Like I said – I need this to supply my very supportive and loving husband a great meal so he knows I haven’t forgotten about his belly!! Plus I just earned Lifetime status in WW so I think I deserve I nice celebration meal, too!!

Exhausted from cooking 2 different kinds of meals – one for the fiancee and me and one for the four kids with varying attitudes about food. Not to mention the clean up afterwards… Geesh Who knew being the brady bunch would be so much work w/out Alice living w/ us. LOL

I need a Kitchen Vacation because I spend way too much time in my closet kitchen in which I can stand in the middle, open the stove, turn on the water, get something from the freezer or fridge, make some toast and get a pan or can from one of my many cabinets…I can do all this without moving from my starting place. Way too small, I need to let someone else cook for me so that I won’t become cluastrophobic!

I have two jobs, a picky vegetarian husband who doesn’t like veggies (except broccoli), a 3.5 year old who only eats a few things (pasta with red sauce being one) and a 1.5 year old who will eat anything! My husband works night so it’s up to me to take care of the day-to-day activities at home plus look after my son and what he has going on. Busy working mom w/two busy school age kids, hubby who tries hard but still all thumbs in the kitchen … all this adds up to one tired momma in the kitchen! A night off from planning, prepping, and executing the meal … and even sitting down and enjoying it … would truly be a gift 🙂

How wonderful to just pop something in the oven and not worry about it ,plus baked pasta is something everyone loves so it is a win, win!

Same complaint of women everywhere, right? 🙂 I love cooking, but sometimes it would be nice to have a break that doesn’t include a brown paper bag lol And this just looks really delicious.
